Tumor-to-function evidence for zebrafish cancer studies
Designed to connect longitudinal fluorescence tumor imaging with functional phenotype and tolerability in the same fish over time.
ONCOLOGY MODULE: VALIDATION IN BUILD
The platform's current initial validation wedge is CNS / ALS. Oncology remains a strategically important expansion module and will advance with customer-backed validation.
Tumor response is not the whole story
Tumor control with toxicity
A compound may reduce tumor burden while causing sedation, impaired locomotion, reduced feeding, or systemic toxicity.
Early functional warning
Behavioral changes may appear before a conventional tumor imaging endpoint becomes decisive.
Fragmented evidence
Tumor images, behavioral video, treatment records, controls, and study context are often reviewed in separate tools.
The Tumor to Function Response Map
For each fish, SWARMOSCOPE is designed to create a longitudinal and reviewable profile containing tumor burden and dissemination trajectory, behavioral health trajectory, treatment response class, functional toxicity or confounding flag, model confidence, quality measures, and interpretable behavioral drivers.
Swarmoscope Oncology is being validated. We use language such as "designed to," "being validated," "aims to help," and "intended to distinguish." We do not claim that behavior predicts tumor response, reduces clinical failure, predicts human response, or diagnoses cancer. One fish. One identity. Two modalities. One auditable decision record.
